By Rail:

Mararikulam does not have a dedicated railway station and the nearest railhead is at Kochi. The Kochi railway station is one of the most significant railway junctions in southern India which is well connected to other cities of Karnataka and India. Kochi railway station is well connected to all major Indian cities and towns with regular daily train services to Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi. Local cabs are easily available outside the Kochi railway station for the tourists.
