Ranakpur experiences typical tropical climate that gets too hot and sundry in the summers and cold in the winters. The summer season from April to July is the hot and dry with receding water levels and dry heat making it difficult for tourists. The monsoon rains from July to September bring much needed relief from the dry heat but rising humidity levels can be sapping for overseas travelers. The best time to visit Ranakpur is the winter season from October to February when the temperatures are moderate with minimum temperatures dropping to nearly 8 degrees Celsius while average temperatures ranging between 15 to 20 degrees.

Ranakpur does not have a dedicated airport facility and the closets airport is the one located in Udaipur at a distance of 96 Kms. Udaipur airport is well connected to all other major Indian cities with regular flights to New Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai and Kolkata. Taxis and cabs are freely available outside the Udaipur airport to reach Ranakpur.



By Rail:

Falna is well connected to all other major Indian cities with regular train services to New Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai and Kolkata. Taxis and cabs are freely available outside the Falna railway station to reach Ranakpur.
