Chandipur Beach:

Chandipur beach is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Chandipur. Known for its prince tine white sand, the Chandipur Beach is located at a distance of 16 Kms from Balasore railway station. The unique aspect of Chandipur Beach is the receding sea waters that go as much as 5 Kms away from the sea shore twice a day. The regularly receding waters make Chandipur Beach a unique beach while offering all the marvels and comforts of a wonderful costal paradise.

 

Balaramgadi Beach:

Balaramgadi beach is one of the most well known landmarks of Chandipur attracting a large number of tourists. Located at a distance of 2 Kms from the Chandipur Beach, the Balaramgadi Beach offers sandy shores ideal for lazing around the beach making it one of the popular hotspots in Chandipur. The sea side beach of Balaramgadi is easily accessible by good roads making it one of the most widely visited beaches in Chandipur. Surrounded by wonderful coconut trees, the Balaramgadi beach offers clean and surreal ambience making it one of the cleanest beaches in eastern India.

 

Remuna:  

Famous for Khirachora Gopinath Temple, Remuna is situated at a distance of 25 kilometers from Chandipur and 8 kms from Balasore. The Khirachora Gopinath Temple at Ramuna is famous for milk offering known as Khira and is one of the most well known religious hotspots in Eastern Indian coast. Hindu saint Sri Chaitanya along with his teacher Madhavendrapuri and disciple Jeevaswamin Goswami is said to have visited the Khirachora Gopinath Temple making it one of the most known religious shrines in theregion.

 

Nilagiri:

Nilagri located at a distance of 40 Kms from Chandipur is one of the best known excursions attracting a large number of tourists. Famous for its tremendous trekking routes and escapades, Nilagri is also famous for the Kuldiha Sanctuary and the ancient Jagannath Temple devoted to Lord Vishnu.

 

Similipal:

Similipal is one of the most well known tiger reserves in India attracting a large number of tourists. Located at a distance of 100 Kms from Chandipur, the tiger reserve at Similipal covers an area of about 2750 square kilometers with a wide variety of wild beasts including tigers, leopards, elephants, deer, crocodiles and reptiles. Known for its rich flora and Fauna, Similipal is surrounded by Lush green forests with Waterfalls and orchids surrounding the reserve making it one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in India.

 

Panchalingeswar Temple:  

Panchalingeswar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the most well known religious shrines in Chandipur. Located at a distance of 56 Kms from Chandipur city center and 40 Kms from Balasore, the Panchalingeswar Temple is located on top of the Nilgiri Mountains and is famous for its five dedicated Lingas having a natural spring flower worshipped as a manifestation of Lord Shiva. The Panchalingeswar Temple attracts pilgrims and tourists from across India and is one of the most popular shrines in eastern India.
