Sanasar is one of the most well known tourist destinations of Patnitop. Sudh Mahadev Temple:

Sudh Mahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the most famous religious shrines of Patnitop. Built around 80 years ago, the Sudh Mahadev temple has a broken trident commemorating the wishes of a devotee accidentally killed by Lord Shiva. Madhatop located at a distance of 5 Kms from Patnitop city center is one of the most popular holiday hotspots of the Kashmir valley. Located at an elevation of 2024 meters above sea level, Madhatop is home to a three fresh water springs attracting tourists and nature lovers. The Naag (cobra) Temple:

The Naag (cobra) temple also known as the pride of Patnitop is a 600 year old Naag temple attracting a large number of tourists and devotees from all over India. Believed to be the place where the Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati, the naag temple is one of the most holy Hindu shrines of Kashmir valley.
