Sanasar:

Sanasar is one of the most well known tourist destinations of Patnitop. Famous for being the hub of adventure sports in the region, Sanasar with its lush green meadows and pastures offers tourists parasailing and paragliding excursions. Kud:

Kud is a small town located at a distance of 20 Kms from Patnitop city center. The city is famous for its traditional sweet of Patissa attracting a large number of tourists and food lovers alike. Located on the Udhampur Srinagar national highway, Kud is located at an elevation of 1855 meters above sea level. Sudh Mahadev Temple:

Sudh Mahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is one of the most famous religious shrines of Patnitop. Built around 80 years ago, the Sudh Mahadev temple has a broken trident commemorating the wishes of a devotee accidentally killed by Lord Shiva. The temple attracts a large number of pilgrims from all over India. The annual festival of Shivratri is celebrated with great pomp and show in the Sudh Mahadev temple.

 

Madhatop:

Madhatop located at a distance of 5 Kms from Patnitop city center is one of the most popular holiday hotspots of the Kashmir valley. The Naag (cobra) Temple:

The Naag (cobra) temple also known as the pride of Patnitop is a 600 year old Naag temple attracting a large number of tourists and devotees from all over India. Believed to be the place where the Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati, the naag temple is one of the most holy Hindu shrines of Kashmir valley. Situated in Krimchi region on top of a hill, the naag temple attracts pilgrims, nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
