Ranakpur Jain Temple:  

Ranakpur Jain Temple is one of the most holy Jain religious shrines in Ranakpur. Dedicated to Lord Adinath, the first Jain teerthankara, Ranakpur Jain Temple attracts a large number of pilgrims from all over India. Built in the early 15th century by the rulers of the Mewar Dynasty, the temple has four subsidiary shrines, along with 29 pillared halls and 80 domes. The temple is a wonderful specimen of the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the region. There are four subsidiary shrines located within the vicinity of the Ranakpur Jain temple. The interior of the temple is decorated with intricate carvings and mural paintings making it one of the most well adorned temples of India.

 

Surya Narayan Temple:

Surya Narayan Temple dedicated to the Sun God is one of the most popular relgiious landmarks of Ranakpur region. Located near the Ranakpur Jain temple, Surya Narayan Temple attracts a large number of pilgrims, tourists and art lovers alike. The circular wall projections of the Surya Narayan Temple are considered to be a fine specimen of intricate archeological brilliance.

 

 Sadri:

Sadri is a small pilgrimage town located at a distance of 8 Kms from Ranakpur city center. Sadri attracts a large number of tourists and pilgrims to the various holy shrines including the Varahavtar temple, Chintamani Parsvanath temple and Dargah of Khudabaksh.

 

Muchhal Mahavir Temple:

Muchhal Mahavir Temple is one of the most popular religious shrines of Ranakpur attracting a large number of tourists and pilgrims alike. Located in Ghanerao village at a distance of 5 Kms from Ranakpur city center, Muchhal Mahavir Temple has a wonderful statue of Lord Mahavir with moustache. The temple is also famous for its twin elephant statues at the entrance gateway marking a guarding posture for the statue of the Lord.

 

Narlai:

Narlai village located at the base of a hillock is a popular religious landmark for Jains as well as Hindus. Located at a distance of 6 Kms from Ranakpur city center, Narlai has a host of vibrant Jain temples including the Lord Adinath temple. Apart from its religious significance, Narlai region is also popular for having a large number of steep wells making it one of the unique villages of Ranakpur region.

Desuri is a small village located at a distance of 16 Kms from Ranakpur city center. The village of Dasuri attracts a large number of Hindu, Jain and Muslim pilgrims to offers prayers at various temples and shrines of the region. Desuri showcases the social fabric of India at its very best. The village of Desuri has dedicated temples for Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman and Goddess Navi Mata attracting pilgrims from far and wide. The village also has a temple dedicated to Parsuram Mahadeo.
