Khwaja Khizar Tomb:  

The Khwaja Khizar tomb built in the memory of Saint Khwaja Khizar is one of the widely visited tourist attractions in Sonepat. Built over an area of 4 acre of land, the tomb based on an elevated platform is constructed with red sandstone and small blocks. The tomb reflects the architectural marvel of ancient India with carved ceilings of the tomb look surreal in floral designs with bright colors. The Khwaja Khizar tomb is maintained by the archeological survey of India and is one of the oldest surviving tombs in northern India.

 

Baba Dham Mandir:

Baba Dham Mandir located in Sonepat is a popular temple devoted to the Sai Baba of Shirdi. The religious shrine attracts tourists from all over the world and holds a religious significance across the board with many Hindus and Muslims visiting the temple. The temple is very crowded on Thursdays which is considered to be one of the most holy days. The temple is located in the city center and is just a stone throw distance from the Sonepat railway station.

 

Dargah Mamu Bhaanja:

Dargah Mamu Bhaanja is the tomb of Hazrat Imam Nasiruddin and his nephew Ibrahim. The Dargah is surrounded by a beautiful garden and is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. The tomb of the dargah carved in floral designs and decorated with multicolor including yellow, red, and green.

 

Mosque of Abdullah Nasir Ud Din:

The mosque of Abdullah Nasir-Ud-Din is one of the oldest Muslim shrines in North India. The shrine is located on the outskirts of Sonepat on the National Highway and is dedicated to Saint Abdullah Nasir-Ud-Din who was the successor of Mushid of Iran. Due to the old structure and inadequate maintenance, the shrine is ruined and lays in an unprotected state.

 

Shani Temple:  

Located on the National Highway-11, the Shani Temple is dedicated to god Shani and is one of the most important Hindu temples of Sonepat. The Shani temple attracts a number of devotees on Saturday and is considered to be one of the most holy temples of Lord Shani.

 

Radha Krishna Mandir:

Radha Krishna Mandir is one of the most beautiful modern day temples in Sonepat. The temple is devoted to Lord Krishna and has attractive idols of the Lord along with his consort Radha. The temple attracts a large number of tourists and hymns are sung in praise of the lord every morning and evening.

 

Methodist Mission Church:

Methodist Mission Church is one of the oldest churches in Sonepat. Built during the British rule, the church is a popular religious place of worship with Christian devotees assembling every Sunday for offering prayers. A weekly mass service is held at the church every Sunday.

 

Atlas Shri Ram Temple:

Atlas Shri Ram Temple is the one of the oldest temples in Sonepat. Located in the heart of Sonepat city center, the temple has been built by cycle giant Atlas Industries as a service to Lord Rama. The temple is a popular religious center for the people of Sonepat and thousands of devotees visit the temple on auspicious occasion of Ramnavmi and Janmasthmi.

 

Kali Mata Temple:  

Kali Mata temple is located in the Sainipura area of Sonepat and is a popular religious place of worship devoted to Goddess Kali. The temple is at a stone throws distance from the Sai Dham temple. The temple attracts devotees of goddess Kali from far and wide and the nine day religious festival of navratras is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the temple premises.

 

Ibadat Khana:

Ibadat Khana literally meaning the house of worship is an old mosque situated in the heart of Sonepat city. The mosque or Idgah as its popularly known is a religious center attracting a large number of muslim devotees to offer daily prayers.

 

Jain Mandir:

The Digamber Jain temple also known as the Jain temple is located close to the city center of Sonepat on the Mission Road. The temple is one of the largest Digamber Jain temples in northern India and attracts a large number of Jain devotees to offer prayers and sign hymns in praise of the lord.

 

Gurudwara Shri Teg Bahadur:

Gurudwara Sri Teg Bahadur located in Sector 15 of Sonepat city is one of the well known Gurudwaras of the city. Devoted to the ninth Sikh guru Shri Teg Bahadur Ji, the Gurudwara attracts a large number of Sikh and Hindu pilgrims.
