Day 1 ARRIVE CALICUT

On arrival at Calicut airport after you have cleared your immigration and customs formalities, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for check in. Calicut; one of the historically important place in Kerala as the Portuguese explorer Vasco D a Gama had first set foot on its shores at Kappad beach. It was a busy port and a trading hub and was of great strategic importance. Places to visit at Calicut are Beypore, where Uru (sailing wooden vessel) is made (subject to availability of work orders from Gulf).The unspoilt and unbelievably uncrowded Kappad beach offers a memorable experience. Enjoy one of the best sunsets that you have ever seen or soak up the enviably slow pace of life here. Nothing seems to have changed in Kappad for the last many years and this timeless charm is what makes it a hot tourist attraction. The bird watchers cannot afford to miss out a trip to the Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, which is home to over hundred bird species. Thusharagiri waterfall beats down from an impressive height is a popular trekking and rock-climbing spot as well, which makes it popular among adventure tourists. Overnight stay at Calicut.

Day 2 CALICUT – WAYANAD

Check out from the hotel and drive to Wayanad. Tucked away in the mountains of the Western Ghats, Wayanad is fondly called as the “green paradise.” Enroute visit Pookode Lake - a scenic fresh water lake surrounded by forests. Arrive at Wayanad and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day 3 WAYANAD

You are at leisure on this day to enjoy on your own. Attractions in Wayanad are Meenmutty waterfalls the second largest and most spectacular waterfall in Kerala and the most unspoiled in its natural setting. Separate hike through a moist and deciduous forest required to enjoy the three tiered waterfall cascading at a height of 300 metres. Edakkal caves, a rich treasure trove of some of the relics of the new stone age civilizations in the forms of engravings and pictures in the caves of Edakkal and Ampukuthimala, which offer clues about the past civilizations. Kuruva a lovely island on the Kabini River spread over 900 acres is a haven for many rare birds, animals and plant life. You can also see tribal people in small country boats, fishing in the island - a pleasant holiday destination in the lap of nature. Overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day 4 WAYANAD – BANDIPUR

Check out from the resort and drive to Bandipur. Once the private hunting reserve for the Maharaja of the Kingdom of Mysore, Bandipur is known for its wildlife and is established as a Tiger reserve in 1973. Located amidst the picturesque surroundings of Western Ghats, Bandipur National park covers an area of 874 sq kms. Together with Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary in Tamilnadu it creates India’s biggest biosphere reserve known as “Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve”. Arrive at Bandipur and check in to the resort. Overnight stay at Bandipur.

Day 5 BANDIPUR – MYSORE

After breakfast checkout from the resort and drive to Mysore. Mysore, the erstwhile capital of former princely state and the second largest city in Karnataka played an important role in the history of South India, a city of palaces and gardens and is famous for its silk, sandalwood and jasmine. Arrive at Mysore and check in to the hotel. Major attractions in Mysore is the Mysore Palace, located in the city centre is said to be the most magnificent and captivating. Religiously significant Chamundeswari Temple situated atop of hill Chamundi displays Dravidian influence in some of its architecture. It is quadrangular in shape, and there is a statue of the Lord Ganesha on the doorway.
Evening free to explore the colorful bazaars. Overnight stay at Mysore.

Day 6 MYSORE – COORG

Check out from the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Madikeri,the major town in Coorg district (also known as Kodagu),known for its green fields, coffee plantations, Orange orchards and couple of waterfalls. Located in the eastern slopes of Western Ghats Kodagu is an administrative district in Karnataka. On the way visit Kushalnagar Golden Temple, Tibetan Colony and Nisargadhama. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day you are at leisure for your own activities. Overnight stay at Coorg.

Day 7 COORG

Start your day with a visit to Coorg. Magnificent attraction in Kodagu is the Madikeri Fort built of mud and later on replaced by a concrete stone by Tipu Sultan. It is an imposing fort and hardly there is any other fort that matches its grandeur. Raja's seat, an ideal place to explore the exquisiteness and enjoy the panoramic beauty of the mist covered blue hills and valleys and to relish the sunset. It has been developed into a public garden attracts large number of tourists. Omkareshwara temple, dedicated to Shiva, was built in the 19 th century in a mix of Gothic and Islamic styles. It was built by Lingarajendra in 1820. There is a pool in front of the temple with tons of fresh water fishes in it. The temple has four minarets around it and a dome in the center (similar to a Muslim Masjid). Overnight stay at Coorg.

Day 8 COORG – MANGALORE – DEPART

Check out from the resort and drive to Mangalore airport. Board the flight to your onward destination feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent with us. Our services end after dropping you at Mangalore airport.
